Meet the Slab Co. Family…

The idea behind The Slab Co. started with a simple observation — there was a gap in the fishing world for anglers who love chasing panfish. While so much of the industry focuses on bigger species, anyone who has felt the thump of a true slab knows just how exciting crappie fishing can be.

Our family has been fishing since we were kids. Drew has always had a deep passion for being on the water, while Amanda enjoys soaking in the ride — the peaceful mornings, the quiet lakes, and the time spent together. Along for the adventure are our three daughters and two loyal fishing companions (our dogs), who all share the same love for being outside and on the water.

Based in Minnesota, where fishing is part of the culture, some of our best memories are the simple ones — spending time with friends and family, casting a line, and enjoying the calm that comes with a day on the lake.

At the heart of The Slab Co. is the belief that fishing is about more than just the catch. It’s about slowing down, spending time together, and enjoying the pursuit.
